In the last few years, there has been a new food craz that is quickly becoming a household word, “Paleo.” Like many topics, there’s tons of information with lots of contradictions of what IS and what ISN’T PALEO.
Here’s the main idea behind paleo. You only eat what our ancestors would have eaten. Think cave men running around with big sticks. 😉 Okay, maybe not cave men. The basic idea is to eat food that is not processed so no Cheerios, no pasta, and definitely no Rocky Road ice cream and to eat mostly foods that you would hunt or gather.
Think meat, vegetables, fruits, oils and seeds. The reason why this is such a popular diet is because so many people see successful results. They also see results that last. This is a lifestyle change not a crash diet. So, as long as you stay the course so will your waistline.
Think about it? You are cutting out anything with empty calories: pop, coffee, pizza, etc which for some of us can be 70% of our diet.
I wouldn’t call our family paleo because we do enjoy wine, legumes and gluten-free grains such as rice and quinoa. However, our diet is largely paleo because our meals are mostly centered around lean meats and vegetables. We don’t eat grains at every meal. 🙂

Okay, so let’s get back to this fabulous creamy recipe. These Wild Berry Paleo Popsicles are a creamy blend of berry & banana sweetness. Your children will love them because they are sweet and creamy and you will love them because they won’t stick to your waistline.
Aren’t these popsicle molds the cutest. We have had them for over a year and they are amazing. They are SUPER easy to use and I never had to worry about breaking my popsicle molds like I have did with previous brands. If you are curious they are called Qiorange Silicon Fish Molds. I love them because they are smaller so the popsicle is more manageable for smaller children which means less sticky mess for me to clean up. My kids love them because it makes homemade popsicles much more magical. 🙂
Here’s what you’ll need to make your own Wild Berry Paleo Popsicles
